The Foundation has suffered an enormous loss with the sudden death of Denise Frost in December 2015. Denise had been a Gallery Guide for many years and had been a long standing Foundation Board member. For the last 3 years she was Secretary of the Foundation. Her contribution to the Foundation is immeasurable and her enthusiasm for art and for furthering the Newcastle Art Gallery’s reputation and collection was limitless and infectious.
She will be sorely missed.
