LEVELS OF SUPPORT
You can support the Foundation at many levels. All donations play a vital part in enabling the Gallery’s artistic vision.
To assist with the planning of Gallery support, the Foundation encourages you to pledge your donation for a period of 3 years or more.
DONOR CIRCLES
The Newcastle Art Gallery Foundation Donor Circles bring together individuals, families, and organisations who believe in the power of art to inspire, challenge and connect communities. Through annual philanthropic giving, Donor Circle supporters provide support that will enable Newcastle Art Gallery to:
- Present ambitious exhibitions and public programs
- Acquire significant works of art for the Collection
- Support learning, access, and community engagement
- Invest in the Gallery’s long-term cultural impact
Your support helps ensure Newcastle Art Gallery continues to thrive as one of Australia’s leading regional cultural institutions.
Advocate
$1,000 – $4,999 per year
Sustain the everyday work. Your gift supports exhibitions, programs and acquisitions.
Monthly, quarterly or yearly. 1, 2 or 3-year commitment.
Leadership
$5,000 – $9,999 per year
Expand what’s possible with a higher level of support.
Monthly, quarterly or yearly. 1, 2 or 3-year commitment.
Principal
$10,000 – $24,999 per year
Help us be ambitious in our support of the Gallery in all forms.

Director
$25,000+ per year
Lead at the highest level. Helping support and maintain a world class Gallery.

Emerging Advocates
$750 – $999 per year
Begin your journey. An entry-level circle for emerging supporters ready to invest in the Gallery’s future.
Monthly, quarterly or yearly. 1, 2 or 3-year commitment.
For supporters under 40 — an entry point into philanthropic giving with the Gallery.

Acknowledgement of your support
All Donor Circle supporters are entitled to have their names on the Foundation Honour Board. As an Advocate Supporter you will be invited to the Foundation’s program of events which may include:
- Private viewings of major exhibitions with an introduction by the Director or Curatorial team.
- Access to selected exhibition openings.
Supporters at higher giving levels may also have the opportunity for expanded engagement opportunities.
Family giving is recognised within the same Circle thresholds and provides cumulative recognition of your donation on our Honour.
All information given will remain confidential as per the Foundation’s Privacy Policy. Newcastle Art Gallery Foundation Trust ABN 27761310771 is a Public Ancillary Fund endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) and is also a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Donations of $2 and over made by Australian taxpayers are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please note that if the funds donated cannot be paid towards the Gallery as described, the Foundation will apply the funds to its general purposes to promote, advance and develop the Gallery in all its forms.
