Despite studying science and working at BMT & Associates for 17years, Georgina’s real passion is the visual arts and cultural institutions, in particular the Newcastle Art Gallery.

Georgina has been a Gallery Guide at NAG for the past 8 years, engaging visitors with the gallery, collection and exhibitions.

Georgina was also on the Newcastle Maritime Ball Committee for almost 8 years, which was often the sole fundraiser for the Newcastle Maritime Museum, and has enjoyed the past two years serving on the NAG Foundation Membership and Development committee (M & D).

Georgina is committed to preserving and expanding the NAG collection and has a broad understanding of the views of the NAG visitors and the NAG gallery guides. She also has experience in fundraising.
