Our Structure

Newcastle Art Gallery Foundation is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee.

The company’s object is to act as Trustee of the Newcastle Art Gallery Foundation Trust, in accordance with its stated purpose and Public Ancilliary Fund Guidelines. The Foundation adheres to all requirements under the ACNC Act to maintain its charitable status.  Financial reports are submitted to the ACNC as per requirements and are available on this website.  Members are sent financial reports with their AGM notification each year.  

The Board is supported by the following committees: Finance and Investment, Governance and Compliance, and the Donor Stewardship, Bequests and Events Committee.

During the Gallery expansion, volunteer Expansion Ambassadors advocated for the project.
