“There are those who give with joy, and joy is their reward.”

Kahil Gibran

There are numerous ways of donating to the Foundation. Maybe your interest is in acquisitions of new works, maybe it is in the conservation of a specific work, maybe it is just to celebrate a special event or maybe it is to support the future redevelopment of the Gallery?

Generous donations by members of the Foundation have been given to mark wedding anniversaries and to remember a special person or a valued colleague. Parents have given gift memberships to their children as a way of instilling the value of giving and donations have been made by organizations to signal allegiance to cultural groups.

Grandparents, such as Therese and Rudy Wildschut, have “bought” piano keys for the amazing Stuart & Sons piano for all of their young grandchildren, allowing the children to feel pride and “ownership” in the acquisition of something truly special for Newcastle.

Bequests to the Foundation are also a wonderful way to show appreciation of the magnificent part the Newcastle Art Gallery plays in the cultural life of Newcastle

Perhaps a special occasion will prompt you to consider a donation to the Foundation to further our support of the fine Newcastle Art Gallery.
